The Problem
The Educators, Children, and families of Wilmette Child Development Center will become more mindful of our environment by reducing, reusing, recyling, and upcycling paper, bottles, and other items we use daily. As a community, we will become informed and ecologically friendly citizens. We will waste less and reuse more.
Our Plan
We will print a list of acceptable items for recycling in our city. We will apply for a grant to purchase recycling bins for our school to use. We will create a shared space to store paper tube rolls, bottles, caps, cardboard and other materials to turn into upcycled art projects in our Early Childhood Education classrooms.
