The Problem

Economics is often taught through static diagrams, lectures, and expensive resources. Many students do not have a free, engaging way to practice the graphs and decisions behind real economic issues, while teachers lack ready-to-assign activities that show where students are confused.

Our Plan

I am expanding EconLearn, a free interactive economics platform I built as a Mira Costa High School student, into more Los Angeles-area classrooms. Students will complete graph-based activities, receive immediate walkthroughs, and practice applying economics to real situations. Teachers will be able to create classes, assign activities for points, review results, and reuse them without purchasing software. I will recruit and support local teachers, improve the activities from classroom feedback, and track participating classrooms and student completion. Hundreds of students already use EconLearn, and this project will turn that traction into a repeatable, free classroom program for Los Angeles-area schools.
