This gap prevents many talented students from developing research skills, building confidence as scientists, and pursuing pathways in STEM fields.
Synapse will create accessible, school-based research opportunities by connecting underserved high school students with university mentors to design and conduct original STEM research projects. Through hands-on investigation, collaboration, and scientific communication, students will gain experience with the full research process while developing the skills and confidence needed to become future STEM leaders.
