The Problem
The problem we want to address with our project is the lack of access many underserved and underprivileged youth have to nature-based education, environmental experiences, and positive outdoor activities. Many young people in our community have limited opportunities to learn about wildlife, conservation, and the importance of caring tor the environment. This can lead to disconnection from nature, limited leadership opportunities, and fewer safe, educational community activities. Our project helps solve this problem by providing hands-on experiences through nature walks, wildlife care, museum and aquarium visits, and community involvement. We want youth to develop compassion for animals, confidence, leadership skills, and a stronger connection to the world around them while creating positive experiences that inspire learning and environmental responsibility.
