The Problem

We would like to address how to increase habitat for bee to survive in order to pollinate the many food sources in the Sacramento Valley. We are hoping to learn more about what native plants are that can be planted to encourage bee health. We are also wanting to add another aspect to the bee-friendly garden by using the flowers and growth of the plants as bouquets that we will cut and donate to local medical facilities and nursing homes.

Our Plan

We are planning to research and plan for one successful garden that we can learn how to grow the native bee-friendly plants. As they are growing we will collect vases from garage sales or thrift stores in order to have containers to put our bouquets in. We will research local community facilities to take our flowers to once they are grown.
