Limited access to fresh, nutritious food in Beaverhead County, Montana, especially for families experiencing food insecurity, alongside a lack of hands-on opportunities for youth to build practical life skills and meaningful community connection.
To engage youth in Helping Hooves’ therapeutic farming program to plan, plant, and care for a greenhouse growing space, learning what and how to grow while developing life skills. The produce they grow will be harvested and donated to the local food bank, directly supporting families in need.
