The Problem

In Michigan, bees are an essential pollinators for both plants and crops. They not only support the upkeep of agricultural crops but also, they are essential for maintaining our ecosystem. Although not all bees are endangered in Michigan, some native specific bees are endangered or are threatened in the state. We believe that it is incredibly important to get ahead of this problem before it is too late.

Our Plan

There are many ways to help the bee population grow in Michigan. We will be aiming to complete a monthly task that is seasonal dependent. Some things that we will complete are making bee hive hotels, planting native flowering plants, or simply supporting our local beekeepers. This is planned to take place in or around Metro-Detroit/Detroit to accommodate all those that wish to join this project!
