The Problem

Every day there is a ton of food waste after lunch. In order to lessen the food waste, Earth Savers will supply a bucket with worms to 5 classrooms. The compost created from the worm bucket will be used in the school garden. Students want to start with 5 classrooms to test the program's effectiveness.

Our Plan

This project will help lessen food waste at our school. We will make compost buckets for the 5 classes to start with. We will help maintain the compost and collect it when ready. The compost will serve as a great natural fertilizer for the school garden as well.
