Here is how the project went:

We took old cards, used paper stock, old ribbons and started drawing and cutting shapes. Each card had a unique and decorative front. On the inside we wrote a thank you note to the healthcare workers. Then a parent gave them out at the hospital because we were not allowed inside the hospital

Through this project I/we learned:

we learnt that even young people like us ( we are 5th graders from PS 150 in NYC) can make a big difference and small gestures can make someone happy.

What I/we might change:

we would like to use pieces of fabric, buttons and other material which would otherwise be thrown away

My/our favorite part of this project was:

working together - but apart and using webex and zoom
