9:00 – 9:20 a.m. Welcome/Keynote: Julie C. Henry and Tasman Henry, authors of Wisdom from the Wild for Youth: Leadership Tales with Tails*

9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Inspiration Stations #1*

What’s happening with our local environment and how can you make a difference? Hear from local environmental experts who will take you on a journey of discovery through our local ecosystems. Learn what it takes to have living shorelines, sustainable cities, and clean water, including examples of projects you can undertake to make a positive impact.

10:15 – 10:45 a.m. Inspiration Stations #2* – repeat of Inspiration Stations offered during the previous slot

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. FREE Environmental Expo

2:00 – 3:45 p.m. Private screening of Disney and Pixar’s latest release “Hoppers” for summit attendees

*A registration fee of $10 per child is required for the Keynote and Inspiration Stations (parents/chaperones free). The environmental expo and film screening are free.

Keynote Speakers

With a heart for leaders and a passion for wildlife, Julie C. Henry shakes up leadership stereotypes and champions each person's unique impact. She channels her decades of experience as a zoo and aquarium senior leader, keynote speaker, facilitator, consultant, and leadership coach in over forty industries into teachings that are as relevant and practical as they are memorable and fun. Julie is the author of Wisdom from the Wild and Wisdom from the Wild for Youth, co-written with her children. Julie and her daughter Tasman will deliver an inspiring message entitled, The Family Effect: Together, We are a Powerful Force to Change the World for Good!
