Yoyo is an artist and creative changemaker devoted to building connections to inspire sustainability.

Yoyo is currently leading her group, the Environmental Solidarity Network, to foster unity between environmental initiatives in her community.

Yoyo’s work as the leader of the ESN includes collaborating with groups like the Sunrise Movement and the Students Rise Up Movement to motivate students and community members to care for the environment. She established a monthly cleanup project that engages her college community in conserving the natural ecosystems of the Pameacha Pond and streams connected to the Connecticut River.

Yoyo is majoring in Environmental Studies, German Studies, and Government in college. She is a member of Wes Sangha, a group focused on practicing mindfulness and intentional breathing. She also volunteers for Amazing Grace food pantry and enjoys playing the Koto harp and the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese zither.

Yoyo reflects on moving forward after the passing of Dr. Jane Goodall saying, “To know that a person so kind and hardworking existed, is a treasure I will hold close to my heart.”
