Vicky is a college student who showcases a remarkable commitment to positive change. Collaborating with her best friend Yoyo, Vicky undertook a grant project to collect clothing and essentials for women’s and animal shelters, fostering a deepened friendship and impactful memories.
Her primary focus within Roots & Shoots has been the FXB Climate Advocates project, where she serves as an FXB Climate Advocate Intern and International Climate Ambassador.
This endeavor aligns with her interest in environmental advocacy, contributing to the global conversation on climate change through events, donation drives, and a run for climate change.
Beyond her changemaking efforts, Vicky enjoys reading, baking, crocheting, sports, and exploring New York City. In 2023, she received the Catherine McAuley Award for academic excellence and community service.
Based on her experience, Vicky’s advice to young leaders is to “embrace your passion. Find that cause that ignites your spirit… Allow this passion to be the unwavering force propelling your purpose forward.”
