From early on, Sidak has committed to working for environmental and social justice. In intermediate school, she led a Roots & Shoots group, organizing impactful programs like Forest Fest. Beyond R&S, Sidak is an Earth Guardians’ club president, raising awareness of local environmental issues, and vice president of an Amnesty International club.
Sidak was the leader of her school’s Forest Fest, showcasing her dedication to local education and fostering community awareness of NJ ecology.
Sidak’s involvement in theater includes roles as a student director, actor, and stage manager. As the vice president of Thespian National Honors Society at her high school, she values theater as a safe space for personal growth and aims to create the same experience for others.
The commitment of her peers at school and on the council gives Sidak hope, fueling optimism and determination to make a difference.
“Eyes up, eyes open.” This theater mantra reminds Sidak to appreciate the present moment, encouraging mindfulness and connection.
