Nathan combines his leadership skills and passion for sustainability to create lasting impact.
Through his Future Leaders EarthX (FLX) program, Nate engages students with industry
experts and organizes educational events to inspire action on environmental issues.
His work with EarthX has deepened his understanding of climate advocacy and organizing
which supports his goal to increase young people’s awareness of and engagement in climate
issues.
Nate also participates in debate, contributes to his school’s Environmental Science Club, and
works on prairie ecosystem restoration projects, propagating and planting native plants. He was
a conference speaker during United Nations Climate Week.
“Empowering young people with climate knowledge from an early age is essential to creating a
more sustainable future,” Nate explains.
