A believer in the power of collective action, Lauren demonstrates a profound commitment to environmental conservation. She not only participates with Roots & Shoots but volunteers in her community, co-founded a charity, and helps provide Thanksgiving meals for 100 local families.
Lauren’s current Roots & Shoots project targets stress relief and mental health awareness during exam week at her high school.
The initiative includes partnering with other organizations to introduce a service dog for exam day support, along with baking treats and organizing relaxing activities for students.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, baking, art, painting, reading, hiking, skiing, playing video games, and spending time with friends. Actively involved in clubs like Girls Who Code and her school’s Environmental Action Club, Lauren is also a dedicated Girl Scout working towards her Gold Award.
About what motivates her, Lauren says: “I am passionate about the environment and preserving the unique biodiversity that our planet fosters.”
