Christian is a values-driven youth leader and storyteller with a passion for the environment and photography.
Christian founded a Roots & Shoots club and the first Eco Council at his high school to foster eco-conscious mindsets and practices in his community.
The club has engaged the school community in gardening, river cleanups and campus recycling. Since graduating high school, Christian continues to be an active member of the Los Angeles Roots & Shoots Basecamp, participating in large community events and serving on the advisory board. He recently returned to the U.S. after a wildlife conservation research internship in the Amazon rainforest.
Christian is currently taking college classes while pursuing acting. Outside of his studies, work, and Roots & Shoots, you can find Christian volunteering, teaching children’s church, taking his dog on a walk, or going on a bike ride to a local coffee shop.
Advising young changemakers, Christian says: “Please know this, the people we often compare ourselves to are just people. If you work hard you can achieve as much as you believe in yourself.”
