The Youth Science Society of Greater Washington, DC (YOUTHSci) was started by kids for kids. These kids were inspired by an exhibit they attended in 2019, featuring the amazing primatologist, Dr. Jane Goodall at the National Geographic Museum. Dr. Goodall started her own science society as a young girl in England, and that was what put the YOUTHSci wheels into motion. YOUTHSci is for young people who want to learn about science and be scientists or forever-science fans. We believe that science opens new worlds to see new things.  Science makes the world a better place. Through science, every person can make a difference.
