| Biography |
I’m Taylor and I work with a diverse, Christ- centered school in Indianapolis called The Oaks Academy. I am working to create more green spaces and outdoor education learning opportunities for all students to enjoy. My goal is to build a small garden that will provide a space not only for students to utilize for nature studies, but also for our community to enjoy. I believe there is a major need for outdoor education especially for students who do not have accessible green spaces to play and explore in safely. We are hoping to open up a Spring Club soon where I am able to implement nature studies and grant students access to learning more about the environment and exploring all it’s wonder. I recently moved here from Arizona and have enjoyed learning more about the Midwest, however, I do miss mountains so very much! I have my Bachelors in Parks and Recreation Management with an emphasis on Community, Tourism and Conservation. I am excited to be exploring a new state and working with students of all ages here in Indiana!
