Wishing and worrying about our children’s future doesn’t solve problems. I worry everyday I spend with my 9 and 10 year old friends, and it’s just not enough to teach them to read and write. Our kids need access to ideas and inspiration from all over their world along with the opportunity to become problem solvers.
Roots & Shoots allowed me to provide those things for my homeschooling community 15 years ago in Florida. Now as an educator in public schools in Texas I hope to open the same doors to my new community.
