Ever since I was fourteen years of age, I was always intrigued at how people treat each other differently – based on race, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. It is disgusting and petrifying how everything is based on standards that exceed expectations. For example, women do not get paid the same as men, a controversial topic that should be addressed more. As a feminist, I want women’s voices to be heard and spread awareness about their workforce and annual income. Something else that really bothers me is the social injustice for African Americans in America. Many black Americans such as, Rodney King, George Floyd, Eric Garner, and many more have faced racial prejudice and police brutality which needs attention, rather than violence and looting. If a change is bound to happen, it must happen immediately.
