I teach in a K-12 private school. I am an artist and have been teaching art and theater for 12 years. I have grown a service program that embodies the spirit of educating the heart through service to others. We have a large school garden and do some outreach. I find it harder and harder to plant lasting roots in the children and teens of today. So many are caught up in themselves, I am in search of more opportunities to open their minds as many will be our future leaders.
