Erin Rourke

I have been a teacher for the past 15 years.  I work in southern CA currently teaching transitional kindergarten.  I love science, nature, animals and try to encourage my students to share my passion.  I provide plants and pets in my classroom.  I also volunteer with the Inspiring Connections Outside program by Sierra Club.  We focus on taking students from inner cities to explore hiking, camping, snorkeling and other outside activities.

I love to read, swim, hike and do yoga.  I like to encourage my students to care about each other and am always looking for resources to guide them.
