| Biography |
An American ecological artist and writer living in Japan, Patrick is founder of City as Nature, and arts editor for The Nature of Cities. He co-directed the film Food, Earth, Happiness, together with wife Suhee Kang.
Influenced by several nomadic years learning from farmers, philosophers, and monks in East Asia, his work seeks to cultivate human relationships with nature. He studied at San Jose State University (BA), Aichi University of Art, and The University of Edinburgh (MFA). He exhibits internationally, and has written for YES! Magazine, Kyoto Journal, Routledge Press, and others.
