I am a retired educator and proud grandmother – coming out of retirement now to lead a learning pod due to Covid virus circumstances. I have a degree in anthropology, taught elementary school and was a school principal for many years. I also was director of education for The Giraffe Heroes Project for about 6 years and during that time shared with others the model and value of engaging in service learning. I am looking forward to incorporating Roots and Shoots teaching materials into our learning pod.
