From a young age, Nicole knew her calling was to help animals in need. With over a decade of hands-on experience volunteering at local animal shelters and rescues, Nicole has dedicated her life to advocating for the welfare of all animals.
Nicole spent many years working within veterinary hospitals, including co-founding a nonprofit clinic which provided accessible veterinary care to her community. Today, she runs daily operations at an animal shelter, operates her own small business, and is a student at Unity Environmental University.
Nicole was recently published in Current Affairs magazine regarding her current advocacy work: fighting for captive animals in roadside zoos and circuses. Somehow through all of this, Nicole still finds the time to volunteer with a few different animal organizations.
Her current goals include raising awareness on climate change, ending cruelty in circus performances, and launching a new organization driven by innovation and the next generation of animal welfare advocates.
