Madison Wurthner is a college student at the University of South Florida, and a marine conservation advocate focused on protecting critically endangered species through education and community engagement. She leads efforts to raise awareness about Rice’s whale — one of the rarest whales on Earth, found only in the Gulf of Mexico.

 

Driven by a passion for ocean conservation and public outreach, Madison works to connect schools, coastal communities, and local industries with the knowledge and tools they need to support whale conservation. Through public campaigns, educational programs, and partnerships, she aims to ensure that awareness leads to action.
