I was born in a capital city to parents that made a point to expose me to the world at large. My mother always took my siblings and I to visit the museum, the library and the planetarium. My father always took us to the park, to the river and country rides. Such an upbringing grew and fostered a connection to our natural world. My father watched nothing but nature documentaries, so I learned early that animal behavior can teach us so much about ourselves. I can’t help but pass on those experiences to my children and children in the classroom. Sharing our natural world is a passion I am committed to.
