Biography |
Hello, I am an On-Site Manager for an After School STEM based program that focuses on continuing education through out the school day. My program is ran from a non-profit organization called TrueNorth Community Services in Fremont, Mi. Our goal is to help students connect with their community, provide a safe learning environment while helping those in need within our communities.
A little bit about myself, I am a undergraduate with a BA in Biological Anthropology. I studied at University of Maryland. There I was apart of Paleoanthropology forums at the Smithsonian, North Eastern Anthropology Association, Undergraduate TA for biological Anthropology course and President of the Student Anthropology Association. My passion for anthropology started at a young age where I played in my backyard pretending to go on archaeology digs, to later carrying around books and studies on two of my favorite leading women in Science Jane Goodall and Meave Leaky, who I get to meet later in life while attending college. I was speechless and in awe. Now days I continue to use my anthropological skills in teaching within the education system to inspire others in my community to dream big.
