Hello world! I am Mia, currently a sophomore at Oregon Episcopal School, Portland, OR. As a genuine STEM/Synbio/Quantum Physics maniac, I love all things related to them. Last year, my research project won the first place of plant science in my school science fair. I am also a core member, the major art designer and experiment conductor, of 2019 International Genetically Engineered Machine competition high school world championship winner team GreatBay_SZ, and will be dedicating another year as an adviser of later teams. I am passionate about promoting gender equality by encouraging the women in STEM field. Taking off from science, I also endeavor to address the significance of environmental conservation. I have been working on a long-term project about microplastic for a year, and I believe that there will be always be a way to solve global issues using science.
