Meredith Branch

Meredith is a soulful, project-based educator strategically disrupting the disconnectedness and mediocrity of traditional schooling. She believes deep learning happens when schools are focused on the maturation of souls instead of test scores and when institutions uplift the spirit of children instead of corporate greed and entrenched power. Meredith believes children learn best from hands-on, social learning experiences and ensures her classroom is a place where students can follow their curiosity, see the world through an antiracist, global lens, and practice activism for themselves, others, and nature. She is confident that all students can realize their full potential when content is differentiated according to learner interests and needs, and relationships with students and families are put first. These convictions shape a culture of high academic ownership, love for learning and justice, and strong moral fortitude in her classroom.
