Hello! My name is Mahir Rahman and I am an IB Senior in Florida! My aspirations consist of creating a world free of inequitable medical and educational opportunities. My goal is to study Public Health and Law in order to promote equitable opportunities in low-income minority-based communities. After founding the Gateway High School Roots and Shoots Chapter, I have been able to pursue progressive projects that foster an equal environment for all students. Through my work with Roots and Shoots, STEMchats, IB Council, and Honor Societies, I continue learning the importance of fluidity, creativity, and critical thought, in solving local and global social, environmental, and animal issues.
