In the West, Lily Paden, a student at the University of Los Angeles (UCLA), co-founded Forces of Nature with Will after witnessing the impact of climate change firsthand. Growing up in the hills of Southern California, she saw the hillside behind her home in flames during the 2018 Woolsey Fire, burning 96,949 acres of land, destroying 1,643 structures, killing three people, and prompting the evacuation of more than 295,000 people. Called to action, Lily works to empower companies to understand and act on their connections with the natural world by making them aware of their corporate social responsibility and the growing presence of sustainability in the professional sphere.
