So happy you’ve joined us Leeom! If you have any questions or ideas, just let me know! If you’d like, check out our current project on wolves! We will be meeting with the Wolf Conservation Center (based in NY, USA) virtually to learn about their work to save wolves and reintroduce wolves back to the wild!

Great idea!! There is a group called wildlife sos (they have offices in USA too). They help elephants so maybe they can help. You can contact them on Facebook or email them. Good luck!

On the 19th, I was returning to my town, and on the way we passed a huge wildlife sanctuary. I SAW A WILD ELEPHANT!! It was a little smaller than I an adult but way bigger than a baby. I think maybe it was a teenager or young adult. He or she was in the jungle but quite out and very near to me. But still, there were a lot of leaves so he/she was…[Read more]

You can also join my group Refuse to Ride! Helping elephants.
Thanks so much, I’ll do that. I’ve had no ideas on the issue, and you posted.
Sorry, meant keep you posted.
I thought about what you and one other Roots and Shoot group said about the issue, and I came with a plan. First I’ll spread awareness, like you said. After enough people are aware, I will look into the laws, and see if there’s any laws about it. If I can’t find any laws they’re not following I will talk to the trainers about the bullock and…[Read more]

Dear Ecopat, I am so glad you have ideas! But unfortunately there is no humane way to train them. 😔

Okay, first you’ve GOT to spread awareness to people and talk about it as much as possible and post it on social media. Once people know, the animal lovers will do all they can to save them. Try to raise money with some good people interested and try to help the elephants.

Hey everybody! Thank you so much for joining the group! Hereis a new idea. If you or someone you know, has a talent like, singing, dancing, poetry or playing a musical instrument, then you or they can perform! You can do it at school, at a birthday party or wedding or any programme. You could even form a band! Use the money to donate to tigers but…[Read more]
I like that idea! By the way, plz join my group save the polar bears 🐻❄️
I will. I love bears.
Leom, how should we save the tigers?
Well, we could try to donate money to helping tigers and for helping the poor village poachers get a new, better job so they won’t hunt anymore. We could also spread awareness by telling people we know about the danger that the tigers are in. I know it sounds pretty lame but even the littlest things can make differences. ❤️
(P.S sorry for late…[Read more]

Hey, I’m Leeom. Here is what I wanna say; If you visit anywhere, especially India for a holiday, DO NOT RIDE THE ELEPHANTS. It may seem fun but to to train elephants they are stolen from their mothers and go through a painful training known as “the crush”. They torture them until they are do afraid, they’ll do anything to avoid getting…[Read more]
