I don’t live in Texas, but that’s a really good idea that I can maybe do where I live. Where are you thinking about planting trees?

Well, I have a local trail and a park in our city, but because you don’t live in Texas where do you think you need to plant trees where you live?

We could each plant a tree then take a picture to see how many trees we can plant.

-Use cloth or any other type of re-usable napkin instead of disposable ones
-Use non-plastic toothbrushes. Can you imagine that every plastic toothbrush you ever used is still around today and will be for hundreds of years?…[Read more]-
These are some great actions Anna! Thank you for sharing!
We do use cloth napkins. We call them ‘un-paper towels’!
And because we live in sunny South Florida, we use our clothes line to dry clothes as much as possible!
We even made the big decision to use cloth diapers when our baby was born so disposable diapers wouldn’t wind up in a landfill!

Hi, and welcome I joined your group it looks really cool. I think those are some really good ideas for ways to help the planet, but I live all the way in Texas so maybe we could figure out a way to do something similar, while being far apart. I think either planting a tree or a clean up on of our lakes. Oh also, about the Earth day march, awesome…[Read more]
