Biography |
John C. Angel is an animal behaviourist assisting with canine problematic behaviours on a daily basis for 41 years.
I am currently doing behavioural research in the United States and Ukraine using the Applied Behavioural Analytic approach in dealing with behavioural issues with canines. My research interest is fear and aggression in domesticated and feral canines.
My university disciplines are Physiology & Ethology. I’ve completed behavioural coursework at The Royal School of Veterinary Studies, along with coursework at HSUS University, The University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Presently I am continuing my studies in behaviour at the University of South Florida I lecture at and attend conferences regularly to remain on the cutting edge of applied behavioural science. I am a frequent lecturer at behavioural conferences and have had canines that I’ve worked with featured on Animal Planet, Discovery, and National Geographic. I have been published in the Miami Herald, London Times, and New York Times.
Special Interest SIG
In 2010 the FABA Animal Behaviour SIG was formed and organized, with a well-attended track of animal behaviour presentations. The goal of the SIG is to help improve the lives of animals and their human caregivers.
