With over nine years of experience as the Executive Director of Cherokee Ranch & Castle Foundation, a nonprofit organization that preserves and promotes the cultural and natural heritage of a historic Colorado landmark, I am passionate about combining my love of the arts and community service with my skills in creative problem solving and resource management. I oversee the daily operations, strategic planning, fundraising, and programming of the foundation, which hosts educational, cultural, and recreational events for the public, as well as conserves the wildlife and ecosystem of the 3,400-acre ranch. My mission is to honor the legacy of the ranch’s founder, Tweet Kimball, who was an avid equestrian, art collector, philanthropist, and visionary, and to share her story and values with the next generations. I have a background in international business and ranch and livestock management, which enables me to understand and address the diverse needs and interests of the ranch’s stakeholders, partners, and visitors. I also have a strong track record of serving and supporting various arts and cultural organizations in the Denver area, such as the Denver Art Museum, the Colorado Ballet, and the Art District of Santa Fe, as a board member, volunteer, and advocate. I believe that conscious entrepreneurship is a collaborative process that can change the world through the creation of sustainable businesses that solve problems and provide value for others.
