My career has been with kids, whether as a teacher or working/volunteering in a children shelter. They really do give me hope for the future. I live in Arizona with my two dogs and try to be outside exploring a lot. I see how much nature can teach us about everything. I feel sad for kids who don’t get to be out in it because of being in the city. I think Roots and Shoots is so good to provide opportunities for connecting with nature.
