I have a question, when you say making people pay for it, what does that mean? Like making people pay for a reusable bag, or making people paid if they don’t bring a bag? Sorry I was just wondering. 😉

I’m good with Target, and I don’t think that Target would like the idea of making people pay, but banning it might work. Definitely trying to get them to reduce there plastic bags would help, because I don’t think the whole store would go plastic free, well maybe one day. How should we start writing our letters?

Yeah, good point. Everyone try to find a store near them that produces the MOST plastic, so like if target produces more waste then that would be a good choice.

Yeah, they don’t produce too much plastic, but still I think it could work. One time when we were out picking up trash we found one of targets plastic bags.

Oh, I live in Texas. What should we do? Maybe just do local stores near us?

Well it would be something like California where people need to bring a reusable bag (or Target could provide some) but then if a customer wants a plastic bag, they will have to pay a bit of money to be able to get the plastic bag (kind of like they have to buy it). That way, it will encourage most people to not use plastic bags.

If we wanted, we can use Change.org and start our own petition. I saw the “start a petition” thing.
That would be awesome if we could start our own petition! How many signatures would we need?
Hmm… we can just set it to any number for the goal. Then it will show Target (or any store we do) that MANY people care about this issue!
