Fashion and clothing actually has a large environmental impact! For more sustainable clothing,here are some ideas:
-buy already used clothes from thrift stores
-after you are done with your clothes, donate them to thrift stores and hand them or hand them down to younger siblings, cousins, neighbors, or people you know
-when buying clothes, look for ones that are dyed sustainably or have less dyes in them. Dyes can be really harmful!
-try to find clothes that are made out of cotton or wool. Fleece, nylon, and all other synthetic fabrics are made out of plastic and other chemicals that are really bad. Some micro-plastics will also wash off in the washing machine and go down the drain where they are put into waterways and into the ocean. Then animals will ingest them
