Roots & Shoots at Barr Middle School have removed dead plants and added new flowering plants. We have observed bees, butterflies, and praying mantis using the garden. We added mulch to the garden to help control weeds and preserve moisture.

Students planted more plants to attract pollinators this fall. We identified pollunitors on the butterfly bushes we planted a year ago. We will be mulching our garden soon.
