Biography |
After falling in love with the forest when I was a child, I have been a passionate advocate for the planet and all its creatures. As an educator, I teach environmental responsibility and hope to empower my students to love nature and take care of it through activism. My students and I have taken on many projects, including the planting of a forest on our school campus and the complete renovation of our courtyard to create a biodiverse learning space that supports habitats for birds and pollinators. I feel that it is imperative that we actively participate in the rewilding of our planet to help mitigate the effects of climate change and pollution. As a human, I feel most home in nature and am driven to restore and protect it as much as I can.
