Hi, I live in Austin, and there’s this place right outside of Austin that have these really amazing asian elephants, but there making them do tricks, and shows for people. All the trainers have a bullock in their hand, which they refer to as a “guide” for the elephants. I really want to help the elephants, but I’m not sure how. Any ideas???
Hmm… Are they hurting the elephants with the bullock? That sounds like a problem. If they are hurting the elephants, there may be laws in Texas against that. You might be able to report them, but only if they’re breaking the law. Other than that you might just talk to the trainers about them and learn some more about what’s happening. Dear Ecopat, I am so glad you have ideas! But unfortunately there is no humane way to train them. 😔
