Brenda started her teaching career at an outdoor education center in Peterborough, NH. She delighted in teaching middle school students environmental education and guiding students through adventure elements and ropes courses. Wanting to have a larger impact on children at this age, she took her craft in to the classroom.
Brenda lives in Colorado with her husband, Jim, and their two daughters. The whole family are avid rock climbers and spend weekends working on or living in a Sprinter van which they converted themselves. Recently they acquired a raft and are now spending time taming the rivers of Colorado. Summers you can find them on the road somewhere in America – looking for adventure in the rivers, mountains and canyons.
