My name is Amanda and I am currently a Special Ed Teacher in New Jersey. I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. I have worked in a school (Hillside Intermediate) that implemented Roots and Shoots and I absolutely LOVED it! I fell in love with all the work that they have done for the world and their outdoor classroom. I want to be able to bring the Roots and Shoots program to this new school I am teaching at and I hope to bring that same joy and spark of exploration to this new groups of kids.
