Water, Water, Everywhere …

Group Description

The volume of garbage in our rivers, lakes, and oceans has become a global crisis. Stormwater carries litter from roads, parks, and sidewalks into streams where it can break down and harm critical habitats.

Solving the problem will require strategies that are both scalable and simple for communities to implement. The group, “Water, Water, Everywhere…” encourages people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, religious beliefs, identities, socio-economic status and cultures around the globe to do our part in taking care of Earth’s oceans, rivers, lakes, streams and waterways. We schedule “Water Round -Ups” four times a year and, as a group, comb local and national waters for trash and any other materials that could have a negative impact on our enviornment and its inhabitants.

So…take the time to join our group! We can make a difference! Get out and protect this beatiful, fragile Earth we live on. We can do this!
