Group Description

This group is intended to educate and promote collaborative opportunities for individuals concerned with conservation of Alabama’s Sipsey River, one of the last remaining free-flowing river-swamp systems in the Eastern United States, and home to some of the most unique and threatened species of plants and animals in earth.
