Protect the Night

Group Description

This is a group dedicated to dark sky conservation and raising awareness about the impact that light pollution has on our wildlife. Light pollution disorients sea turtle hatchlings that rely on the light of the moon to make their way to the shoreline, has negative impacts on essential pollinators, like bats and monarch butterflies, causes corals to become less resilient after bleaching events, as well as a multitude of other negative consequences.
