The Little Sprouts Garden Club is a school-based club open to Kindergarten and First grade students who enjoy being outside, working in the soil, and growing plants. Students will learn about gardening and gain hands-on experience with planning, planting, tending, and harvesting crops for our local community. The purpose of Little Sprouts is to equip and excite our young scientists about the benefits of agriculture, specifically in providing food for our local community. Our hope is that these students will transfer their knowledge, skills, and “AG-CITEMENT” into the agriculture-based programs at the middle and high schools. We want our students to see that they can be change makers in their community by providing innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture.
