Group Description

This is a new Roots & Shoots Group for California’s Central Valley youth of all ages that is co-sponsored by the Modesto Area Partners in Science and the Great Valley Museum of Natural History, located in the Science Community Center (SCC) on the Modesto Junior College West Campus. The kick-off and first sign-ups for this Roots & Shoots Group will be at Wild Planet Day, Saturday 9/21/2024 in the SCC from 9 am to 3 pm. Wild Planet Day is a free, family friendly science event that this year will focus on learning about animals. Look for the Roots & Shoots interactive exhibit at Wild Planet Day and join the Great Valley Nature Explorers!
