Contra Costa County 4-H Chapter – Roots & Shoots

Group Description

4-H is a U.S.-based network of youth organizations whose mission is “engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development”. For more than 100 years, 4‑H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better. Through life-changing 4‑H programs, nearly six million kids and teens have taken on critical societal issues, such as addressing community health inequities, engaging in civil discourse, and advocating for equity and inclusion for all.

This is going to be the first Roots & Shoots California State 4-H Club which will be emerging its roots at Contra Costa County 4-H.
This group is open to all the 4-H Clubs in California.

Our aim for this group is to identify, develop and promote initiatives to build a greener inclusive earth with a community that is more aware and committed to this cause. When your voice and your actions are united with thousands or millions of others around the world, we create a movement that is inclusive, impactful, and impossible to ignore.
